| Activity Description | We’ll show you how we are working with nature to combat climate change and transform a dry piece of land into a diverse food production system. You’ll participate with farmer Abdo in our daily chores caring for the farm’s population of animals and plants – a first hand opportunity to learn the skills of growing clean nutritious foods. As we finish up the work session, we’ll gather under a 100 year old olive tree for a cup of herbal tea before we say goodbye. And if you do not have any dinner plans, we invite you to go visit Carob House in downtown Madaba (a 10 minute drive from the farm) and enjoy a 15% discount voucher – a little thank you gesture for your kind help at the farm. * This experience is designed for people who are eager to indulge in farming/gardening activities and help out on our farm. It isn't specifically designed for children, but children above 8 years old are welcome to join as long as they are well behaved and accompanied by parents. |
