Activity Description This comprehensive 3-day tour to Petra and Wadi Rum from Eilat offers an intensive insight into two of the most visited and important sites in Jordan. With daily departures from Eilat, this thorough tour is ideal for those who want to spend more time exploring these Jordanian highlights. The tour picks up in Eilat, and crosses the border into Jordan, then travels towards the port city of Aqaba with time to explore at leisure, before travelling to Wadi Rum. Arrive to the Bedouin Campsite accommodation in Wadi Rum with time to admire the new surroundings and scenic view. Once settled into the campsite, head out on a Jeep Safari tour in the afternoon as the sun begins to set and the air becomes cooler. Overnight accommodation is at the Bedouin camp where there will be time to enjoy an authentic Jordanian meal for dinner. As the sun rises in the morning, enjoy breakfast and the view before travelling to Petra for a day of wonderment. The first touring day of Petra is guided, which provides a deeper insight into the history of the ancient Nabatean city. The second day touring Petra is specifically designed for independent exploration of the site including time to hike to the Monastery or revisit previous sites, or uncover new ones. After the final day of touring and sightseeing, travel back to Eilat before returning into Israel and completing the tour in Eilat, with hotel drop off.
Important Information Our tour departs as early as possible to ensure timely arrival to the border crossing. By arriving first this means a quick crossing procedure and more time spent in Petra.
