Depart to the south of Nabatean rose-red city of Petra, early morning from your location in Amman.
Capital of the Nabataean Arabs, is one of the most famous archaeological sites in the world, it is Located 240 km south of the capital Amman and 120 km, Petra the world wonder, also Petra was chosen by the Smithsonian Magazine one of the 28 places you should visit them before you die, and it is Jordan's most valuable treasure and greatest tourist attraction, and it is visited by famous people & tourists from all over the world.
First, walk through the famous “Siq”, a narrow path of 1.2 kilometers; rock fissure that was once the main entrance to the city, and marvel at your first glimpse of the hauntingly beautiful Treasury “El - Khazneh”.
The canyon suddenly opens up. Admire this rose-pink masterpiece, originally built to house priceless treasures, and capture it on camera. Then, proceed through the widening canyon to witness other monuments such as the 3,000-seater Theater, the Royal Tombs, and the Byzantine Church.
Explore how the Nabateans sculpted the buildings, and learn how they mastered the harsh desert conditions to make their lives here. If time permits, you can climb up the Monastery on your own or the High Place of Sacrifice: a clifftop altar that was once used for animal sacrifices and other ceremonies.
After breakfast you will have a short visit of Wadi Rum in a 4x4 Jeep (Local Bedoiune cars) - (Own Expense). Wadi Rum is a uniquely-shaped massive mountain that rose among the rosy red sand of the desert with towering cliffs of various brownish, reddish and golden colors.
You will move to the Dead Sea which sits over 1300 feet (432 m) below sea level. The Dead Sea is one of the most incredible places in the world.
